MACC

Morrisville Alliance of Culture and Commerce

MACC’s mission is to help ensure a strong and viable downtown, north-end commercial district, and riverfront. MACC serves the community by building upon our historic past, recognizing our existing assets, and utilizing local knowledge, skills, and resources.

Through a variety of events and initiatives, our vibrant community-driven organization promotes cultural enrichment and economic growth so that local businesses, artists, residents and organizations can thrive together in our community, Morristown.

Meet the MACC Board!

We are your neighbors! MACC is made up of a team of volunteers who donate our time and expertise to help make our community a better place to live. We’re on a mission to build community, make our town beautiful, and help provide opportunities to strengthen our downtown’s economic center. Get to know a bit more about each of us and consider joining our efforts!

The board meeting is the 4th Monday of every month. Meeting time is 3pm at  43 Portland St. Morrisville Vt 05661 in the upstair meeting room.

Carol Lauber, President

“I have been a resident of Morrisville since 2006. Over that time in my adopted hometown I have worked as a nurse at our local hospital, farmed and participated in our farmer’s market, and volunteered on other community projects always with building community in mind. I love Morrisville, community work and being part of all the ways MACC supports and strengthens our community. “

Gary Paquette

Gary Paquette, Treasurer

“I have lived in Morrisville since 1983 with my wife, Sandy. I worked for Stowe Mountain Resort my entire career and Sandy has been involved with the Lamoille Family Center for over 30 years, first as an employee and for nearly 20 years as a member of LFC BOD. Upon my retirement, I wanted to connect with and become a contributing member of our growing community. MACC is an active group that supports our local businesses, engages in projects and events that beautify and enhance this special place – a perfect fit”.

Leslie Mahoney

I grew up in Burlington, raised my children in Hyde Park and spent the next 20 years as Interim Director in various Trauma Centers along the East Coast. Lamoille County has always been my home base. I’m now retired and settled back home close to family. I joined the MACC Board to involve myself in learning and supporting our great Community through listening, education, strategic planning and collaboration to foster growth and pride.
